The building is 18.35m by 7.6m, almost 140 square metres plus the decked veranda
The building gives an internal floor area of 140 sq m in 80mm laminated log with an outer cladding of 19mm Tongue & Groove.
The building has been set on a parapet wall hung 200mm by 50mm floor joists and inserted 100mm of Cellotech insulation between the joists.
The walls have had a multifoil insulation inserted into the cavity , the roof section has had 150mm of rafter roll laid.

First Leisure have now expanded their product portfolio to incorporate a range of Siberian roundlog buildings and more contemporary styled square/laminated and even "moveable" log buildings from Latvia.
The expansion is in partnership with Trade Exchange UK Ltd thus giving expanded coverage in the south of England with an office in Buckinghamshire as well as the one in Perthshire
The Siberian round log merely upgrades the previous product from Finland, The improved weatherproof jointing between each log, superior triple glazed windows, along with the all important price are three of the main reasons for the product enhancement.
The square log range gives much more of a contemporary design feel with log sizes from 40mm upwards

The new hospitality building on the Tollshill Estate, south of Edinburgh is now in use, providing warmth and comfort from the elements on the open moorland!
The building was constructed from 170 round logs, sourced from Siberia, Russia.
